Remembering Thanksgiving
Remembering Thanksgiving! It is always a blessing at Thanksgiving. Anywhere from 30 to 60 people for dinner. Jack my husband makes two turkeys, ham, tons of mashed potatoes and gravy and of course stuffing. Our grandson Kris this year also made a ham with his recipe. Very good by the way. Then everyone brings a dish. Lots of food!!!!! Lots of fellowship. The furniture is taken out of the house and the tables are set. Everyone eats and then the tables are taken down and furniture comes back in. Everyone sits around and fellowships and tries to recover. LOADS OF FUN!

Remembering a beautiful day on the porch
A few days ago taking a break on my side porch. Rocking in the rocker is so relaxing... It was a lovely day!
Raining quite day
Got up this morning to a beautiful sunrise. I will have to take the pictures off my camera. Sky was blue with some clouds and the air was crisp and clean. I took my dog Sweet Pea out for her morning walk. Though the trees I could see the sunrise. Wow! Poor dog I ran her back in and grab the camera. I have spent the day working on the churches web site calendar. Learning new things. Great fun! Thank you Ryan and Dot. Jack was at Men's breakfast this morning. Sounds like the guys had a blessed time. We are just talking about cooking a roast tomorrow for dinner. I think my husband is going to use Ree's recipe from (Pioneer Women cook book). We used to live in Prescott Az. This is our kind of cooking. We all worked real hard then. Miss that. We now have to change some of the things. Getting older can't eat some of the ingredients. Have to change them up. We are having fun learning how to do that also. Jack my husband cooks way better then I do. Trust me I m happy! He makes all our Holiday meals and when ever we have people over most of the time he cooks. He loves to cook and bake. Yikes! Sometimes we have up to sixty people for Thanksgiving Dinner. He does a great job. Thank you honey:) Its raining now and 43 degrees outside. We should have snow, but the weather has been warm. Our plants are a little confused. Mixed up some hamburger meat for hamburgers and going to cut some potatoes up and make a salad. I'll roast the potatoes and Jack is going to throw the burgers on the BBQ. Yes in the rain. lol!!! We have a covered deck and the BBQ is off that with an big umbrella over it, so he will be fine. Better get busy.
